Text Parsing in FileMaker Pro 10 – The Middle Functions

Text functions allow FileMaker Pro to deal with text strings in a meaningful way. A database cannot see the value in a word or sentence. What it can see is a collection of characters strung together like beads on a necklace. Punctuation and white space carry the same a value as letters and numbers. As you develop solutions in FileMaker Pro understanding how to manipulate these strings of text is imperative.
