Ever so often, I’ll run across a tip that I think would be a great way to extend FileMaker Go outside of its sandbox. Recently, it was a tip from Google about opening links in Chrome from iOS. I wondered if there was a situation that, as a FileMaker Developer, I could use the method in a solution…? Turned out, I didn’t have to look any farther than an internal tool we use here at Skeleton Key. The following video will demonstrate just what I mean: Of course, to use this tool, you’ll have to make sure that Google Chrome is installed on the iOS devices that will be running your solution.
